What is flower therapy or therapy with flower essences?
Flower therapy is a natural and mild form of healing that uses essences made of flowers, specially selected and processed. Flower therapy is considered a type of homeopathy. Accordingly, it represents a holistic way of treating various problems, since it operates on all three levels of human functioning - physical, mental and emotional. Flower essence works by the principle of detecting the causes of imbalance in the body. More specifically, they act by helping the person to free himself from the negative beliefs, thoughts and feelings that exist at the level of the psyche, and thus enable positive qualities, such as love, joy, faith, courage, etc., to emerge in the person's life. When negative beliefs and thoughts disappear, equilibrium and healing occur. The healing effects are achieved by activating the immune system of the organism that then defeats the disease. The goal of flower therapy is to restore harmony between the psyche and the body of the person.
It is important to note that the use of flower essences is completely safe and harmless. Flower essences can be used by everyone, from babies and pregnant women to seriously ill and elderly people. As practitioners like to say to their clients, "the worst thing that can happen is for flower essences not to act, that is, not to solve the problem they are having." They also DO NOT create any physical or psychological dependence.
The combination of flower essences are made for one or a few problems that a person has at the moment. Practitioners select the appropriate flower essences that heal these problems. In other words, the approach to flower therapy is individual. For each person, there are his/her unique combination of flower essences at a certain time of life. There are also ready-made combinations of flower essences that relate to certain universal human problems, such as insomnia, poor immunity, depression, fears, etc.
There are several ways in which flower essences can be taken. The most common and widespread way is oral consumption. The standard dose is 4-5 drops 3-4 times a day. There are other ways of taking flower essences, for example in the form of sprays. Flower essences can also be taken in the form of creams, lotions, and can also be used in the form of a bath. In this case, 10-12 drops in the bath are poured. Flower essences can also be used topically by putting compresses on certain parts of the body.
